Two Lips Reviews talked about every story. Aside from the fact Memphis is a major city and not "a small southern town," they seemed to get it.
One reviewer at The Journal of the Lincoln Heights Literary Society really enjoyed this one.
Another reviewer at the same found it dull.
Romance Reviews Today liked it even better. "Well-written and intriguing" they called "Hunger for the Edge."

Joyfully Reviewed called it an excellent addition to her vampire collection and said we had one of the more interesting takes on vampirism the reviewer had encountered.
Cocktail Reviews gave Chocolate and Power Tools three cocktails. They weren't too keen on me.
RRT Erotic described this as follows: "If life is like a box of chocolates, then this Torquere Press anthology is a mixed bag of nuts." And again, not too keen on my little tale.
Joyfully Reviewed enjoyed the collection, but didn't much care for Rafe. Too manipulative, was the verdict, despite the interesting premise and the hot sex.

Rainbow Reviews gave us three stars, but a very nice review. "Like a chocolate melting on the tongue, sweet, luscious ... that is this story. Short, but it will sizzle your socks off."
Just Erotic Romance Reviews gave it a 4. "The emotions come off as genuine," they say, which is a great compliment.
Literary Nymphs gave "Paying Forfeits" four out of five nymphs. "Well plotted, sizzling chemistry and amazing creativity," Water nymph says.
TwoLips on the other hand, gave us three peppers and a single kiss, a very low rating. "Pure porn with no emotional development on any scale."
Elisa Rolle, however, seemed to get the emotional development and Sam's journey. She has great affection for Sam.
Joyfully Reviewed gave it a rather mixed review, enjoying the games until Billy made things a little too weird.
Cocktail Reviews enjoyed "Tuition Fees." "Yanked right in," "unique and well-written," The Witch of Salem says and gives us FIVE champagne flutes.
Two Lips gives "Tuition Fees" 3.5 kisses and a 2 pepper heat rating. "Dark and complex," they call it, as well as "thought-provoking."
Two Lips Reviews gives us 4.5 kisses. They had some very nice things to say about me: "funny, tender and enchanting."
Joyfully Reviewed loved it. They talk about all 19 stories and call the collection, "twisted in a most wonderful way."
Two Lips gave Sappho's Chest four kisses and 1.5 peppers. "Engaging," plus some nice things about technique and quality.

RRT reviewed all the Tricks or Treats line. "Built up a lot of steam" the reviewer said, but would have been better serveded by a longer length as the ending felt rushed.
BDSM Reviews loved it. A lot. "It is rare that a short story is so complete, so like a perfectly cut and polished jewel of erotic literature. This one is, absolutely." I'm dying of the blush here.

Joyfully Reviewed called the collection "awesome" and said "Get yourself Men in Uniform II today � you won�t regret it!" My story, they said, was "funny and steamy."
Two Lips enjoyed it as well. Four kisses and two peppers for heat.

Joyfully Reviewed called it "great!" with "sinfully sizzling sex."
Paul Bens reviewed it for Uniquely Pleasurable. While my offering doesn't hold up as well as some of the others, he did call it "a fine way to pass an hour or so."

Cocktail Reviews gave the anthology 4 flutes, and my own story four as well. They called the story "languid and evocative, richly sensual."
Literary Nymphs gave the anthology a solid 4 nymphs and talked about each story.

Elisa Rolle had very nice things to say, including the idea that it was more romantic than the usual Ellora's Cave story.
Rainbow Reviews calls Etarin "a sci-fi tale that is filled with interest and romance."
Joyfully Reviewed gave Etarin a "Joyfully Recommended" and says it has "excitement, tenderness and dreams coming true."

Elisa Rolle totally and completely got it. She usually does. She says it is not a simple book, nor is it for those who want black and white, happy endings. But it's definitely for those who are happy in the shades.
Obsidian Bookshelf had both good and bad to say. Fair enough, since I'll be the first to admit my writing has flaws. "Underneath all the sex, it has a solid, gripping plot. The talented author has a flair for dark satire." And they loved the cover art.
Literary Nymphs was amazed. "a powerful and thought-provoking story" and "It will make you think, hurt, and want to hurt."
Dark Diva Reviews gave Nikolai 4 divas for "sheer audacity." They focused more on the sex, calling the politics, "underdeveloped" and the plot a "backdrop into which all the sex fits." Still, it seemed to pass muster.
Rainbow Reviews bestowed the highest honor any reader can: "I had difficulty putting it down and I was sorry when it finished." (as well as four stars)
Elisa Rolle liked the hero and the villain of the piece, and calls it "a classic pirate novel."
Alex Beedrof is underwhelmed with the historical research, but enjoyed the story.
Rainbow Reviews gave it four stars and said "remarkably captivating story which appeals both for its historical wealth of detail and for the smoothness of its character revelations."
Dark Diva Reviews gave us 5 Divas, and "Blood rubies" got five as well.
Joyfully Reviewed called the collection "creative, fun, hot, and very entertaining." Of "Blood Rubies" she said "sexy and outrageous and a lot of fun."
Rainbow Reviews gave it four stars.
Louisa Clark says at Amazon that she enjoyed them all. She called "Blood Rubies" a "well-crafted, adventurous tale of betrayal and lust."

Joyfully Reviewed said "Ain't No Easy Run" made her happy.
Uniquely Pleasurable reviewed Sounds. Paul Bens calls our story "sweet, romantic, erotic" and has good things to say about the others as well.
Rainbow Reviews had nice things to say about all the stories. About "Sideshow Roses," they commented "an extremely erotic display of the love between these two men."
Literary Nymphs gave the collection 4.5 nymphs and talked about all the stories.
Rainbow Reviews says "Color of Magic/Color of Money" is a "tightly plotted, tautly woven novella with good characterization and an appealing perspective on the BDSM lifestyle."

Elisa Rolle reviewed this and enjoyed it. She does say neither character is a good guy and some readers may be put off by that.
The Journal of the Lincoln Heights Literary Society found it rushed and incomplete, and seemed to miss that it was a pastiche. But called it a "short dramatic adventure with unique characters."
